We are CAETANO COATINGS SA (hereinafter CAETANO), headquartered at Estrada Nacional 3, km 1, 2580-595 Carregado, and with the single registration and legal person number 507 928 210.

C – Personal data we collect

1. The personal data we collect so that we can provide our services and/or sell our products are as follows:

– Name;
– E-mail;
– Address;
– Tax identification number.

2. The personal data collected are processed and stored in databases, and the legislation in force on data protection and information security standards are strictly complied with.

3. Process your data only in accordance with the specific and legitimate purpose or purposes determined at the time of collection of the personal data.

D – How we collect your data

As part of our activity, we collect and process personal data when you: (i) register on our website; (ii) makes contact and/or sends newsletters; (iii) you subscribe to a particular service; (iv) provides or requests information; v) acquires a product; (vi) or establishes a contractual relationship with Caetano.

E – For this purpose we process your data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• identification of the Client/User;
• Registration of the User on the website;
• Management of the contractual relationship;
• Invoicing and collection of contracted services;
• Communication of changes to the terms and conditions of provision of the contracted services;
• Inform the user that you have requested new products and services available on the website, special offers and campaigns, advertising and direct marketing, by any means of communication, including electronic support;
• Tailoring of products and services to the needs and interests of the user;

F – How long we will keep your personal data

1. The period during which the data is stored and kept varies according to the purpose for which the information is processed. There are legal requirements that require us to keep data for a minimum period.

2. If there is no legal retention period, the data will be stored and kept only for the minimum period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and subsequently processed, after which it will be processed appropriately.

G – What are your rights as a personal data subject

1. In accordance with the provisions of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016), we guarantee you the exercise of your rights:

a) Access – you have the right to request from us, among other things, information about whether or not your data is processed, what data we process and for what purposes.

b) Rectification – you have the right, without undue delay, to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and to have the incomplete data completed.

c) Cancellation – you may request, in certain circumstances, that your personal data be deleted from our records, without undue delay.

d) Objection – you have the right to object to certain types of data processing, such as processing for direct marketing purposes.

e) Portability – you have the right to transfer your personal data that we hold to another organisation or to receive it in a structured, commonly used and automatically digitised format, as well as the right to transmit this data to another controller.

3. We will respond in writing (including by electronic means) to your request within one month from the date of receipt of the request, except in cases of particular complexity, where this period may be extended by up to two months.

4. If the requests are manifestly unjustified or excessive, namely due to their repetitive nature, the school reserves the right to charge administrative costs or refuse to comply with the request.

H – Communication of data to subcontractors

1. Within the scope of our activity, we may use subcontracted entities to process your data on our behalf, under the terms of the law and this Privacy Policy.

2. When this happens, take the appropriate measures, contractually foreseen, to ensure that these entities, subcontractors, partners or in group relationships, have sufficient guarantees and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures and that they act only in accordance with our instructions.

I – Transfer of data to third parties

It may happen that we have to communicate your personal data to third parties, in which case we will seek to ensure compliance with the legal provisions in force.

J – Transfer of data outside the European Union

The personal data collected and used by CAETANO are not made available to third parties outside the European Union.

We have technical and organisational measures, which we periodically review and improve, aimed at ensuring the security and protection of your personal data in terms of its availability, authenticity, integrity and confidentiality, as well as measures to prevent its loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised processing or access, as well as any other forms of unlawful processing.

1. We use cookies to provide you with a more personalized service. Cookies help the website remember information about your visit and other settings, so that we can make your next visit easier and more useful. The user can automatically delete or block them. CAETANO reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. When this occurs, the date of the last change, available at the top of this page, will also be updated. If the change is material, a notice will be posted on the website.

O – Governing Law and Venue

1. The Privacy Policy, as well as the collection, processing or transmission of user data, are governed by the provisions established in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April 2016, and by the applicable laws and regulations in Portugal.

2. Any disputes arising from the validity, interpretation or execution of the Privacy Policy, or that are related to the collection, processing and transmission of User Data, shall be submitted exclusively to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the District of Lisbon, without prejudice to the applicable mandatory legal rules.
